This is Seth Rollins’ entire feud with Finn Balor. In May 2023, Seth faced Finn in a tournament for the new World Heavyweight Title. Seth hit Finn with the Stomp to advance to the final and he won the title at Night of Champions. Seth was celebrating on Raw and AJ Styles came out to congratulate him. The Judgment Day interrupted. Rhea Ripley said anyone could take the title from Seth and when she mentioned Dominik Mysterio both Seth and Styles started laughing. Dominik challenged them and they accepted. Then Seth and Styles faced Damian Priest and Finn. Priest hit Styles with the Razor’s Edge, went for the pin, Seth caught him with the stomp and followed by the second to win the match. A week later, Seth said he defends his title against Priest and got interrupted by him and Finn. Finn said Priest will take the title from him. Priest said he doesn’t need The Judgment Day to beat him. Seth said he doesn’t stand a chance without them. They met in the main event. Finn did appear and Priest wasn’t happy about that. Then Seth hit him with the stomp to retain the title. Finn called out Seth a week later and he appeared. Finn said he beat Seth for the inaugural Universal Title, only for Seth’s offense to injure him and derail his reign. Then he challenged him for the title.
