Ravyn Knight vs Renee Michelle

Renee’s impressively titled Universal Women’s Undisputed Championship is on the line and the Champion tries to look quite impressive herself, but Ravyn is anything but intimidated and grabs a Side Headlock. Soon she’s countered as Renee flexes her technical expertise clearly out-wrestling Knight and making her look silly at times as well. Even a test of strength that should be a disadvantage for Michelle goes her way but Ravyn’s eye rake brings an end to this technical nonsense. Referee Chico’s introductions were very impressive, but his ability to detect rule-bending could use some work as Renee’s hair is wrapped around her throat prior to a Rear Naked Choke. Hairpulling adds to a bodyscissors, Renee desperately reaches for the ropes to break a mounted rear Chinlock only find herself choked by those very ropes. Finally free of a choke Renee takes advantage of an Irish Whip to come back to life for a near fall but as her adrenaline surge fades she comes up short in a strike exchange and Knights back in charge. Ravyn seems content to continue to choke, strike and generally bully Renee into submission but the desperate Champion holds on looking for one more opening that her Title reign will likely hinge on.
