Rain vs Shawn Spears

The predatory Shawn sets his sights on the Radiant Rain in this 2 out of 3 Falls match-up, all condescending – addressing her as ‘sweetheart’, claiming that she’s playing hard to get and even slapping her on the derriere after pinning her in a corner. But Rain can give as good as she gets, in terms of banter as well as all-out punishment. The crotch kick she delivers in response to that slap is proof! Spears doesn’t get any more chivalrous after that, punishing Rain in the corners and grabbing her hair repeatedly for leverage while choking her on the ropes. But Rain manages to retaliate with some more well placed kicks and a hard DDT for the first fall. Things then go back and forth for the next go-round. Rain breaks out the punches and kicks and even chokes Spears with his own arms while he lays her out with a devastating Dropkick, a spine-bending Boston Crab and even a double fishhook to the mouth! Where Rain hammers him with repeated punches, bouncing his head off the turnbuckles, Spears retaliates with over-the-knee Backbreakers and bone-crunching Bodyslams. Finally, a reverse Neckbreaker takes all the fight out of once-cocky Spears, giving Rain the victory with 2 falls in a row!
