That would be no different this year as Hiromu Takahashi and David Finlay both have their final matches in New Japan with entirely different tones for each. Finlay's was somber while Hiromu's was joyful, full of "it's not good-bye, it's see-you-later" sentiment throughout the night. The match of the night was for the IWGP World Tag Team Heavyweight Championships as the Knockout Brothers -- the hottest act in New Japan and quickly becoming the best tag team in all of pro-wrestling -- defended their titles against their seniors who they've surpassed: the struggling Yuya Uemura and Shota Umino.
