Malia Hosaka vs Sammi Baynz

Sammi and Malia are all business heading into this match, running straight out of their corners and locking up immediately. The technical chops on both sides are evident at once as the pair test each other’s boundaries with arm and Waistlocks, eventually dropping to mat level where Sammi gets on the wrong side of a Bow & Arrow. Unfortunately for Sammi, that opening was all Malia needed to dominate the rest of the match. The veteran exploits the resulting vulnerability for all its worth, digging her fingers into Sammi’s lower back and locking her into some punishing, spine-bending submissions, including an extended Camel Clutch. Whenever Sammi attempts a rally, the wily Malia just returns straight to the lower back, unleashing clubbing blows and sharp kicks that have the hapless blonde begging for mercy. One last Boston Crab has one fighter wailing out her submission.
