Burnley's return to Premier League action saw Scott Parker's side earn another valuable point and extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to three matches. There was an early scare for the Clarets, when Milos Kerkez broke into the area from the left and struck it across the face of goal for the oncoming Hugo Ekitike, only for Lucas Pires to beat the striker to it and make an excellent goal-line clearance, with a resulting Reds corner.
