Sky Sports News understands Ten Hag wanted to make his players run 13.8 kilometres during training because Brentford's players ran that much further than them during Saturday's 4-0 defeat (109.4km to United's 95.6km). Ronaldo cut a frustrated figure during the defeat and has told United he wants to leave the club in to play Champions League football.
