Gabi Castrovinci vs Ivelisse

This match between quicksilver athletes Ivelisse and Gabi starts of all tactical as the pair play mind games with each other. Gabi claims to be scared of Ivelisse but continues to smile maniacally at her, freaking her out in turn. The psychological warfare doesn't seem to detract from either lady's performance though and they start off with some tie-ups, Headlocks and Waistlocks, feeling each other out for weaknesses. From there, the action escalates into a rapid-fire back-and-forth rhythm as the ladies exchange a variety of moves. For a while, Ivelisse controls the match by focusing on Gabi's throat, executing a range of chokeholds both rope-assisted and otherwise. There's corner punishment galore, cruel Camel Clutches, a late-stage double Clothesline that lays both ladies out. An MMA-style submission has one lady tapping and asking the ref why she's being subjected to this extraordinary punishment.
