At the M-1 Challenge 98 tournament, which took place on November 2, 2018, in Chelyabinsk, two exceptional striking fighters competed. French Wushu Sanda Champion Emanuel Dava (France), 7-2, faced off against Full Contact Karate World Cup winner Ivan Bogdanov (Sech PRO), 5-0. French fighter Emanuel Dava has excellent striking technique – he has won medals at the French Boxing Championships and is a two-time French Wushu Sanda Champion. Therefore, he uses an aggressive, attacking style in all his fights. His strengths include excellent standup technique and explosive striking combinations. He has won 7 of 9 fights, 4 of which were by knockout. Dawa is also no stranger to ground fighting – he's a two-time medalist at the NAGA European Grappling Championships. However, whenever possible, he prefers to fight standing and unleash his full striking power on his opponent. Five professional fights and five wins. All by knockout! That's the resume of 20-year-old Ivan Bogdanov from Vyborg. None of his opponents lasted beyond the second round, and his last three fights are even more impressive – lasting longer than the second minute. He also holds world cup victories in Ashihara Karate and full-contact karate. Last summer, Ivan signed a contract with M-1 Global and is now preparing to make his rage debut. The audience was treated to one of those fights where you can expect a reckless brawl and a knockout. Both fighters boast powerful punches and the ability to destroy opponents before the end. We were facing a potential fight of the night contender. #Knockout #Fight #Battle
