Essential Martial Arts Lesson From Jet Li's First Movie (Shaolin Temple)

Shaolin Temple launched Jet Li to fame. It's truly a good display of Wushu choreography. One of my favorite parts of the movie was a little teaching moment hidden between all the flowery fight scenes. I wish I followed the heart of the scene more closely because I realize I kind of didn't take in the message. Either way, hope you enjoy my analysis.
