This video covers one of the boxing techniques used by the Ukrainian superstar Vasyl Lomachenko. The first time I saw Lomachenko was in the amateurs about 10 years ago. I was amazed. He did everything. From a technical point of view he was one of the finest boxers I had ever seen. What particularly struck me, and what struck me about many of the Eastern European boxers, was the boxing style and the boxing techniques he used were text book in the execution. In this video I show you how to merge two boxing techniques - the slip and diagonal movement. This is all about transfer of effective rotation and excellent transfer of weight. Work through with discipline and control - slow is smooth and smooth is fast. As with all boxing techniques, this can be instilled to become an automatic response to a situation.
