On March 3, 2017, at M-1 Challenge 75 in Moscow, dual American champion and TUF veteran Keon Caldwell (USA), 11-3, challenged former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Maxim Divnich (Moscow), 12-2. Keon Caldwell, nicknamed "The Black Assassin," had been competing in mixed martial arts for over eight years at the time. During that time, he won championship titles with Square Ring Promotion and Island Fights and competed on the 13th season of The Ultimate Fighter, which he left for personal reasons rather than defeat, as most competitors do. The American fighter is distinguished by his enormous size for a lightweight, great physical strength, and monstrous punching power, resulting in nine knockout victories. With the fight in Moscow, he was planning to begin his quest for a third championship belt, this time with M-1 Challenge. For Maksim Divnich, this was a fight with no room for retreat. The organization's former lightweight champion suffered a defeat to Artem Damkovsky in September, and a second consecutive loss could have spelled a serious defeat for his career. Divnich has always been known for his ability and desire to deliver exciting and spectacular fights, usually ending early. #Knockout #Fight #Battle
