To mark the 20th anniversary of our beautiful Allianz Arena, we spotlight the history of the home of FC Bayern and explain what makes this stadium so unique. In the first part of the three-part documentary, we take a look at the opening ceremony on May 31, 2005, including the opening match against the German national team, and are told by the architect of the Allianz Arena himself, Jacques Herzog, how the planned renovation of the Olympic Stadium turned into the ground-breaking ceremony.
