Santillan, fighting in his hometown, had to try and fight through a serious cut over his left eye and damage to his nose. Norman used sharp counter-punching, including a powerful right uppercut in round 10 that dropped Santillan twice. The second knockdown forced the referee to stop the fight at 1:33 of round 10.
