Doubt is something we all experience. Regardless of how qualified we are, even greats at the top of their game have this poison seep into their minds time to time. Doubt is a very normal thing, but to stay doubtful... That's where the problem lies. Why? Ben Askren put it the best, "I see athletes all the time with great skill but great self doubt as well. At the end of the day they end up losing to opponents with significantly inferior skills because the other athlete believed in himself more. It doesn't mean that the opponent is a better athlete it simply means self doubt was defeated by self belief. Here's the deal, doubt will crush you. But belief will lift you up. I don't know what you need to believe in yourself, your coach your teammates, etc, but believe in something. Allow that belief to replace any doubt that you have.
