There's a form of Kung Fu that has consistently proven itself very successful VS many grand stages. Sanda. It isn't what we see from the Shaolin Monks although Shaolin wushu 'monks' typically receive minimal Sanda training. When it comes to successful forms of Sanda shining on the grand stage, perhaps Zabit Magomedsharipov, or Cung Le may come to mind; but Zhang Weili is the current UFC Women's Strawweight Champion and she too uses this form of Kung Fu as her fighting base. In this segment we will see her training, and doing some playful light sparring with a legendary Muay Thai master. He is someone many recognize as the pound for pound king of Muay Thai and is also recognized as a giant slayer for consistently taking on bigger opponents: Saenchai... Watch him hilariously recoil taking a side kick from this female champion. Truly, the chemistry between these to light sparring is a thing of beauty...
