Brad has a wealth of experience as both a competitor and a coach, and in this conversation we get into everything from his early years and motivations, to stories from fighting abroad and building a career in the sport. We also touch on some of his thoughts around dealing with taller opponents — how he’s approached it in his own fights, and some of the habits and ideas that have helped him close the gap against bigger fighters. Brad’s got a great sense of humour and genuinely loves combat sports, and whilst he was coaching at the UFC PI in Shanghai it felt like a good opportunity to sit down and have a proper conversation rather than just break things down.
