This show is excessively long. There are many irrelevant and absolutely unnecessary side-stories. There is a problem, it builds up, but then it resolves itself, adding or changing nothing to the show. Suspense is there, but its killed over and over again because they have stretched this show far too much. For the main story, there is little to no character development and motives are weak. Also everyone happens to be listening in on everyone. You can't tell who the main character is supposed to be at times. Bihter and Behlul are extremely indecisive which is unrealistically show. The romance in this show is weird. Making characters kiss and say I love you isn't the way to depict love. If this show wanted me to fall in a moral dilemma where I was rooting for two forbidden lovers but also sympathizing with everyone they hurt, then this is the worst way to do it. Nothing in this show made me convince that the characters were more than lustful cheaters. However, what makes this show bearable is hat it has likeable and relatable characters. The acting is good, and styling is enjoyable.

One of the best series I've seen in Tukish series industry. Despite the fact that the actings of some actors were not very good, the plot was brilliant. Very good cast with Zerrin Tekindor, Nebahat Çehre, Selchuk yontem is very good.

What I liked in this series is the well written story. What I did not like in this series is the chosen names, it took time to memorise them, Behlul, Bihter, Besir, Bulent ... Beren Saat is not my favourite, she looks beautiful but her acting skill is very weak, just a Cold Queen who cannot walk on high heels.

The young and beautiful Bihter marry Adnand Ziayagil, who fall in love with her, and is much older than her, just to fight and hurt her Mother Ferdivs. Adnan have a big house, full of persons who work for the family. He have two children : Nihal and Bulant... and with them is living the son of a friend of Adnan : Behlul. Adnan grow up Behlul like a son. Bihter hates at the beginning Behlul who is irresponsible, selfish and had a relationship with her older sister. She hates him.. and do everything to catch him from the house. Behlul is a very attractive guy, very loved by women, but he is indifferent to them. Until he falls into Bihter's charms. The wife of his uncle like Adnan. Bihter resist. But Behlul did everything to seduce her. At least she surrounded. And fall deeply in love with him. A damned love. Forbidden love. While the two try to get together.. but after a moment, Behlul is madly sorry for that relationship. And can't accept to make such a sufferance to his uncle. In the meanwhile... Nihal, Adnan's daughter ... secretly in love with Behlul, try to get near him. Behlul is such a coward that he accepted the situation, made possible with the help of Ferdevs, Bihter's mother, trying to save her daughter marriage. And make Behlul get far from her. Bihter is desperate. She is crazy in love, and want to leave her husband for Behlul..who at least, decide to sacrifice his love, and getting married to his innocent cousin ,the young Nihal... Bihter is fragile. Sensitive. She cried and beg her mother to help her to have Behlul back.. because she is dying while he get engaged to Nihal. Behlul try to remove Bihter's love from his live, ... because he is selfish and unable to betray again his uncle Adnan.And want to marry his daughter out of guilt. He want to rectify his mistakes... and forget his love affair with Bihter... while she is threatening him ! Their love made them suffering but they can't change the situation... so Bihter called Behlul in his wedding day...and she was decided to convince him to escape with her. He shall choose between her, or his fragile relative , Nihal. My opinion : Excellent job. for a show on TV, a very good screenplay - Movie and cinema technical issues. Very professional for TV drama !! I agree and much more... I advise everyone to see this drama !! One of the best I ever watched ( I m professional opinion) and the excellent casting, good actors, very wonderful soundtracks. Emotional. The end of the drama is very speed, the final episode. But the rhythms, suspense and evolution in the whole 76 episodes is excellent .. very good job. well done... I loved it. Just watch... hope it will be translated in English !! Very god job.

I thought this was going to be unusual and great (reading the 10 star teenager reviews) but found out it had one of the worst directing and editing in addition to Sound and some of really really bad acting. I watched until episode 10 and got extremely bored and disappointed. Just read the book, it is much better. They destroyed the book with this series. There are so many talented directors and actors in Turkey, just use them.

As a Turkish guy I grew up hating these cheesy Turkish shows. I stopped watching tv 10+ years ago. I watched this in 2019 from internet and kinda blown away. I would never ever expect this quality from a Turkish show. Acting is good, music is great, story is great. Characters are realistic. If you can endure very little classic Turkish show cheesiness you will enjoy this. Addictive as heroine. You may fall in love with Beren Saat. Her beauty is out of this world.
