LaVaaz is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Dani Turner (New York, USA) and electronic producer Jain Harshit (New Delhi, India) The pair met while living in Valencia, Spain and began writing together over the course of a year. -- read more below. By merging Jain's lush synths with Turner's soulful tone, the duo crafts compelling and evocative "emotional headbangers" through electro pop infused story telling. This music video features student Lili del Sol and her band playing "La Bruja", a traditional son jarocho from Veracruz, Mexico, with arrangements typical of Joropo, a traditional music genre from Colombia and Venezuela.
