Ava surprisingly suggests a test of strength to open but it’s not the mistake Rocky was hoping for as Everett manages to parley a stalemate into a wristlock. Rocky does it a bit better but Ava counters and Rocky gets tired of this evenly matched nonsense and drills her in the gut with a closed fist! An armwringer has Ava in a bit more jeopardy and while she eventually counters Rocky shows her up with a cleverer counter. And a series of pump handle yanks punishing her arm! Almost a comedic escape by Ava leaves Rocky disappointed in herself for falling for it. Another few closed fists rock Ava but she rolls Rocky for a near fall right into bodyscissors and she continues to roll for several more near falls. Rocky’s fist continues to be an issue for Ava’s momentum and this time she takes advantage driving Ava’s head into turnbuckles, a nasty reverse Surfboard in the ropes and tying her hair up in the corner! A running knee strike in the corner almost puts Ava away and a Camel Clutch locked across her aching mouth is her reward for kicking out. But Rocky seems indecisive in the driver’s seat and if she’s not careful Ava’s got enough home run offense to steal this one!
