I should mention that normally, I would use just bleached palm oil throughout but I didn't have enough, hence the need to incorporate vegetable oil. Deleted a couple of "too much oil" comments already. Read the caption, it clearly states Buka Stew this is not a Fitfam, healthy type stew. This is BUKA STEW in all its glory You can't skimp on oil when making Buka stew, you'll end up with boiled stew. You"ll never see any actual BUKA STEW without oul floating on the top, the oil is usually skimmed off after cooking. I will not ruin a classic recipe by trying to modify it to suit anyone's idea of healthy recipes. I hate that I feel the need to explain something so simple but here we are..
