Ariel battles Radiant Rain in a fast paced and evenly-matched contest. The early going sees both wrestlers exchange armlocks and Headlocks, reversing their opponents holds and trying to secure an advantage. A frustrated Rain seizes a shortcut, pulling Ariel to the ropes by the hair before catching her with a throat strike in the corner to take control. Ariel brawls her way back into the match with forearms and surprises the veteran with a small package but a nutcracker standing headscissors dazes the Portuguese Princess and the veteran puts Ariel’s spine to the grindstone with a back-mounted Chinlock. She targets Ariel’s back with running stomps, knee drops and nearly takes the match with a vicious Neckbreaker! Ariel ducks out of a corner Lariat and catches Rain with a backslide for a 2 count. Rain makes her pay with a brutal Lung Blower that leaves Ariel heaving on the canvas. Neither wrestler is willing to give, but they’re both nearing exhaustion. In the end a devastating stunner leaves one battler out on the canvas for a no doubt 3 count for the victor.
