Some of my thoughts on my UAC Welterweight title fight vs "The Gatekeeper" Tee Jun (Tay Jia Jun). Coming off a loss last month against the Indonesian middleweight champ, Iwan Diono, this was a very high-pressure match for me. My confidence going into UAC #1 was shaky at best; especially due to me having to aggressively cut 5 kg to make weight for the title shot (73-81 kg class). Ultimately, glad about how things turned out. An admittedly bittersweet victory, but I'll take it.
