Honestly, I'm crying watching this movie. This movie is so sad. As a Minangnese, i'm so related with this story. Unfortunately, there are some clumsy things especially in CGI. The ship arrival scene is too unrealistic and looks so bad. And this film doesn't tell the background of Zainuddin's father like in actual novel.

Not just an ordinary romantic movie. But also carries indonesian cultural. And a classy romantic poems by zainuddin. I very very love this movie. Best romantic movie ever in.
