Thai MMA Fight CampAs the MMA game grows throughout the world, it is also growing here in Thailand. Having already competed in Muay Thai for the last 15 years, Saksurin and Thanongsaklek are looking to switch over to the MMA scene. Saksurin fought in Full Metal Dojo last year getting the victory and is looking for a repeat along with first time mma fighter Thanongsaklek this weekend. Guided by out MMA coaches, George Hickman, Chris Vamos and Alex Schild we are excited to see the future in Thai MMA. Fighting since the age of 11, Thanongsaklek (“Top-noi”) has had over 200 Muay Thai bouts. First gaining experience in his home province of Buriram, Thanongsaklek moved to Tiger Muay Thai in 2011 and dominated his weight class in Phuket before moving to Bangkok in 2012 where he trained at Chuwattana gym. There he fought at the highest level of Muay Thai in the stadiums of Rajadamnern and Lumpinee, and rose to become the number 1 ranked super bantamweight fighter at Rajadamnern. Thanongsaklek is known for his strong punches and elbows (with which he has knocked out many opponents) as well as his sharp left kick. Since moving back to Phuket in 2015, Thanongsaklek has shifted his focus to MMA. 27-year-old former Rajadamnern stadium, Omnoi stadium and Southern Thailand champion, Saksurin, will be making his MMA return in Bangkok, Thailand. With 300 Muay Thai fights to his name, Saksurin is known for his strong clinch and vicious knee game. "I'm thrilled to try a new career," said Saksurin.
