The Radiant Rain takes on the mysterious, masked Butterfly Bob in this 1 fall intergender match. Both rough and tough competitors, the two trade holds and maneuvers both legal and not-so-legal in the early stages of the match. Rain works over Bob with Headbutts, punches and stomps, Snapmares, kneelifts and submission work on the mat. Bob retaliates with grinding Side Headlocks, rakes of the eyes, back and stomach, an Abdominal Stretch and chokes over the ropes. Through multiple 2 counts and near pinfalls, the two battle back and forth. The crafty veteran Rain clips the butterfly’s wings with a Texas Cloverleaf and face-first slams into the top turnbuckle in every corner. In the end, it takes a leaping DDT, then a second DDT, to keep one grappler’s shoulders down on the mat for the 1-2-3.
