This was in the days when Anderson Silva had much more Muay Thai influence in his style. The scissor kick setup and the reverse roundhouse, including the reverse up elbow, leads me to think that his influence behind his attacks is Somrak Khamsing, the Muay Thai superstar who went on to win an Olympic gold medal and the mentor of Saenchai. These 3 particular attacks are distinctly signature Somrak, so when they are thrown in combination in a single fight, it got me pretty excited to put this together.
