Today, I'm sharing a comforting and delicious recipe that will make your taste buds sing – Melt-in-Your-Mouth Slow-Cooked Chicken Thighs with Sweet Caramelized Onions in the Oven! This dish is perfect for those cozy evenings when you crave something warm, tender, and packed with flavor. 🥘 In this video, I’ll walk you through each step of creating juicy, fall-off-the-bone chicken thighs slow-cooked in an oven, topped with perfectly sweet honey caramelized onions that add an irresistible sweetness. We’ll start by seasoning and searing the chicken thighs to lock in their natural juices, then move on to caramelizing the onions for that rich, golden color. Once everything is assembled, we’ll pop it in the oven to slow-cook until the chicken is so tender it practically melts in your mouth! 🤤 🍗 Ingredients: 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs 2 large onions, thinly sliced 6 cloves garlic, minced or 1 tbs garlic powder 1 cup homemade chicken broth 2 -4 tbsp sunflower oil 1 tbsp Honey or 2 tbs brown sugar Salt & pepper, to taste 2 tbs soy sauce 1 tsp smoked paprika & ginger powder 1 1/2 tbs dijon mustard 1 tbs red pepper flakes (optional, for a touch of heat) 1 tsp dried thyme/rosemary 1/2 knor optional Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish 🥄 Steps: Season the Chicken Thighs: Pat them dry and rub in salt, pepper, and smoked paprika and all the other spices on screen. Sear the Chicken: Sear skin-side down until golden brown, then flip and sear the other side. Caramelize the Onions: In the same pot, add sliced onions with a pinch of salt. Cook until soft, add brown sugar and balsamic vinegar, and let them caramelize until golden. Assemble and Bake: Place the chicken back on top of the onions, add garlic, thyme, and broth. Cover and bake at 300°F (150°C) for 2-3 hours. Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with parsley and pair with your favorite
