Courtney Rush referees this spirited Best of 3 Falls battle between two of our most accomplished and powerful ladies. Madison starts off by doing some stretching–all the better to stay limber and loose as she expediently takes Sara to the mat with a Headlock followed by a combination chokehold/Waistscissors. Combinations continue as the theme of the day as Madison locks on variations of a Camel Clutch that also bend Sara’s legs in directions they’re not meant to go, all the while stretching her neck back to positively swan-like lengths and angles. A final excruciating submission hold proves to be the last straw for Sara, giving Madison the first fall. The second fall starts with Madison deciding to remove Sara’s shoes–a bad decision as it spurs Sara into a rage. Sara lays into Madison’s already injured knee, draping it across the bottom rope and battering it like a drum. Leglocks, stomps and intermittent hairpulling follows and by the time Madison gives up the second fall thanks to a ‘bionic elbow’ to the chest, she’s definitely ready for a breather. All hell breaks loose in the third round as the pair go back and forth with Rocking Horses, Boston Crabs and more leglocks but not before Sara has taken Madison’s shoes off too. Even Courtney is brought into the fray and divested of her footwear. Finally, one lady takes the final fall with a high-impact maneuver, leaving 2 of 3 inhabitants of the ring laid out flat.
