City collected a point against United in a tight, tense game at the home of our neighbours. January signing Omar Marmoush had our best efforts of the 196th encounter between the teams but Red Devils keeper Andre Onana twice denied the Egyptian. He first clawed away our No.7’s dipping free-kick before keeping out the forward’s powerful half volley. Ruben Amorim’s men had their chances too, Ederson standing firm to push substitute Joshua Zirkzee’s effort away to safety. The draw keeps us in the hunt for a Champions League spot as we now lie in fifth spot with seven top-flight games remaining this term.
