Publisher's Summary From number-one New York Times best-selling author Colleen Hoover, a new novel about risking everything for love - and finding your heart somewhere between the truth and lies. Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight, and there's no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn't expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry. For once Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover that Owen is keeping some major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it. The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can't seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin. ©2015 Colleen Hoover. All rights reserved (P)2015 Simon & Schuster, Inc. All rights reserved

How does Colleen Hoover do it? She keeps writing more amazing novels.I'm blown away.So many surprises and twists in the plot; I didn't expect any of them.I loved these characters and I didn't want the story to end.But at least it ended beautifully.
Loved it. Loved every single word. This book draws you in and keeps you in lock down until it's finished with you. I listened to it straight through in one day. Be ready to do the same. You can't go wrong with Colleen Hoover, and this book is that proof.Add it to your cart!!!
OMG! lolAll of Colleens books are fantastic, I can't say a have a favorite because I loved all. This one is no different, the confessions are heartbreaking but good. I wish there was more of Trey but that was good anyways.
awwweee loved this story. loved the characters...loved Owen's "job" and the story line was really good.
I prefer something deeper and more enlightening. I found it shallow. That is all I will say about this book.
Being an extremely avid fan of Colleen Hoover, I jump at any chance to read one of her books. I loved how she decided to go back and forth between the male and female protagonist's POV in this book. Compared to her previous novels, this book does fall short in some aspects. I'd say that the storyline and characters are only somewhat developed and both had much more potential. There were unnecessary plot devices. Compared to Hopeless and Slammed, this book doesn't compare. But it was still a light read with a touching concept, as all Colleen's books are.
Honestly, this book wasn't what I was expecting.I liked most of the story but I hated Auburns character. She was a little too naïve for me to like. BUT she did finally redeem herself at the end of the story and I guess that's what needed to happen.
Cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy boring kinda dumb cheesy kinda stupid cheesy boring annoying 15 worda
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you? The only thing that made this book tolerable was Sebastian York.Wish I had not been sucked into this read by his name as narrator.
Starts off a bit weak with the female narrator. Once the voice of Owen begins the story and the believability increases. I thought I was buying a mystery, to be honest - didn't research the book well enough. I don't typically read/listen to this type of book. But I loved it. Switching back and forth between the views of Auburn and Owen throughout the story - and their connection - was a clever way to reel me in. My heart truly ached for them. It was that involving. And the descriptions of Owen and his voice were attractive, so it was easy to immerse myself in the story. You will like it....
