In this video I share how to make one of my favourite things to eat and cook, chapati! I added lots of green amaranth (dodo), grated carrots and used chicken stock for a super flavourful, tasty and beautiful flat bread which can be eaten as a snack or an accompaniment to African chai, stews and curries. In case you don’t have dodo, you may use spinach or swiss chard. You may also use beef stock or vegetable stock for the vegetarians This is the BEST chapati recipe I have ever made and believe me I’ve made quite a few INGREDIENTS (Makes 15-18) 7 cups Sifted flour 1-2 tbsp Salt ½ cup Oil 1 cup Grated carrots 1 bundle Green amarath, leaves plucked, diced and steamed 2 cups Chicken stock Oil for frying Enj😄y.
