Guest referee Shawn Spears makes the introductions for this 1 Fall submission match. At the sound of the bell, we're off, and both women look to gain the early running. Armlocks and applied, countered and reversed as Angela and Kristine cautiously fight for control. The first real chance falls to Kristin, locking Angela in a Full Nelson/bodyscissor combo. Angela eventually reverses it, with a Nelson of her own, later transitioning into a kneebar. Now it's Kristin who turns the tables, and she soon has Angela suffering in the very same hold. The back and forth continues as both women battle to lock in a match-winning submission. Soon, Kristin seems to have done just that, when she clamps on a textbook Figure-Four Leglock. However Angela is able to reach the ropes and break the hold, using the opportunity to apply a potentially winning move of her own, trapping Kristin in a painful Bridging Indian Deathlock. Will Kristin submit? Or does this contest of twisted limbs have a twist of its own?
