Both wrestlers target their opponent’s arms early, grinding each other down with armwringers, armbars and tight Hammerlocks from every possible position on the mat. The competitive spirit of fair play is broken as Angel seizes the advantage and delivers kicks, boot chokes and a plethora of eye rakes to keep it. She punishes young Mia with deep shoulder blocks into the turnbuckles and nearly drains her with an MMA-style Triangle Choke. Still caught in Angel’s Bodyscissors, Mia struggles to her feet and repeatedly drives the veteran into the corner turnbuckles until she lets go. From there Mia fights fire with fire, delivering a beating of her own punctuated with chokes, kicks and abdominal stands as the referee counts away. Sensing victory Mia clamps on a tight Sleeper, but a devastating jawbreaker by Angel puts both exhausted wrestlers flat on the canvas. The hard fought battle comes to an end with a stunning finale of spin kicks and a Senton Splash that takes the fight out of one wrestler long enough for the satisfying 3 count.
