When boxers do this, and the top guys do it all the time, the outcome is about increased power and increased defensive protection. In this video we are going to combine the roll (also called the bob and weave) with the short range left hook. If you want to see a great exponent put this type of skill to practice, check out Smokin’ Joe Frazier…this was his stock-in-trade. Some key points: Use your legs to generate the roll, isolate your back. Do not lean forward by using your waist…this is lazy and dangerous. Make the 2 skills blend into one It’s really that simple.
