Publisher's Summary The instant New York Times best seller is "a fun, delightful, un-putdownable novel" about two identical twin sisters who couldn't look more alike...or live more differently (PopSugar). Nantucket is only 11 miles away from Martha's Vineyard. But they may as well be worlds apart for estranged twin sisters Harper and Tabitha Frost. After not speaking for more than a decade, Harper and Tabitha switch islands - and lives - to save what's left of their splintered family. But the twins quickly discover that the secrets, lies, and gossip they thought they'd outrun can travel between islands just as easily as they can. Will Harper and Tabitha be able to bury the hatchet and end their sibling rivalry once and for all? Before the last beach picnic of the season, there will be enough old resentments, new loves, and cases of mistaken identity to make this the most talked-about summer that Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket have experienced in ages. ©2017 Elin Hilderbrand (P)2017 Hachette Audio

This was a nice, easy read.I enjoyed it, somewhat predicable, but that was okay.I loved hearing about the differences in the 2 sisters upbringings and how the author closed out some open questions by the end of the story.I also love summer based stories.I thought the mother was a little "harder" than she needed to be, but I would recommend this fun, easy read.

the story's pace was a bit slow at the beginning, so it took a few chapters to fully get into it, but once you're hooked, you're hooked!

This author has been recommended to me, so perhaps my expectations were too high. The overuse of say/says throughout almost all conversations was irritating. The story itself was ok throughout, it definitely kept me coming back to listen, but I didn't love the ending.Everything wrapped up too conveniently. The performance was good.

I really enjoyed the story it’s self, but anyone with a college degree shouldn’t use, “He said“ or, “She said,” in every other sentence.I’m surprise the editors let this slip. I really did enjoy the book and especially the ending.

I would venture to guess that the author uses the word "says" about 1700 times in this book. To the point I almost couldn't finish it because the repetition was distracting. Harper says. Ainsley says. Harper says. Says says says says... I'll be forever haunted

Book is written in present tense which is a huge distraction. The performance of the book sounded like a computer generated voice that was programmed to occasionally show some inflection. The characters and plot were the only thing that kept me reading to the end and even that was disappointing and predictable. I will avoid this writer in the future. I’m surprisedthe editor and producer let this one through.
