Strand Larsen meets Viking Wolves, PL Media Day, Legend receives city honour!
Find out what's been going on off the pitch at Wolverhampton Wanderers in a pre-Liverpool edition of Matchday -1. Jorgen Strand Larsen, currently recovering from injury, surprised a group of Norwegian fans at Molineux. Over 100 of them had made the trip to watch our game against Aston Villa and Jorgen and his grandad came along to welcome them to Wolves. Club legends like Kenny Hibbitt and Steve Daley also attended to thank fans for making the trip and keeping them entertained over dinner. Meanwhile at Compton, the team completed their mid season media day for the Premier League, recording social media content for the league and its broadcasters. King John Richards was awarded Freedom of the City of Wolverhampton, in a great honour for one of our best ever strikers. Finally Wolves Foundation ambassador Karl Henry went on a school visit to surprise our PL Community Champion Louisa Craig.
