I love this subject (Fleetwood Mac) and this book is NOT it. Terrible writing, terrible narration.I actually could only get through half of it.Ugh.
It was a good read. Interesting, intriguing and believable. But like with most books, you have to wonder what parts are exaggerated or just plain not true. It was interesting to read how FM was like a disfuncional family but then not really a family.I do disagree that she came out with the book, especially after Lindsey Buckingham has long been married with kids. Why didn’t she come out with the book in the 90’s? - that’s just my opinion. He probably was an egotistical jerk, but what young pop star isn’t! No excuse for the alleged abuse.
I absolutely loved this book. Every single line of it was full of painfully honest words. This beautifully written masterpiece had me laughing at goofy moments and crying at terrifying episodes of unconditional love for a complex megalomaniac.Reminded me of my younger days with a beautiful guitarist that had the same issues. Much love.
