Chicken paprika is one of my favorite and to go to recipes, easy to make, yet so delicious. This Hungarian chicken recipe is so popular and today am sharing my take on it. INGREDIENTS 1 Tbs Cooking oil 2 lb. Chicken thighs and drumsticks, patted dry , trimmed 1 Tsp Kosher salt 1/2 Tsp Fresh ground black pepper 1 Yellow onion, peeled and thinly sliced 1 Tbs Garlic, chopped 2 Red bell peppers, julienned 1 Tsp thyme, dry 1/2 Tsp Oregano 1Tsp Hungarian sweet paprika 1Tsp Smoked paprika 1/2 Tsp Paprika 1 Tsp Chicken base ( Better than bouillon ) 2 Cups water, or as needed 1 Tsp Red wine vinegar 1/2 Tsp sugar Pinch red pepper flakes 1/2 Sour cream More salt and pepper to taste Chopped parsley to finish and garnish
