Going into this match, it’s clear that participants Su Yung and Kellyanne don’t particularly trust each other. Both exhort referee Kay Lee Ray to search the other thoroughly and neither seems particularly enthusiastic about shaking hands. The lack of trust appears prudent given that the first move by both ladies is to yank the other into a corner with a handful of hair. The meanness doesn’t let up from there as Su takes Kellyanne to the mat with yet another handful of hair and locks on a Camel Clutch only for the stronger lady to pick her up like a feather and ram her into a corner. The punishment flows both ways as Kellyanne uses her superior strength to break out of Su’s holds and clamp on a few of her own – Waistscissors, leglocks, Chinlocks. Su, on the other hand, uses her agility to flow out of Kellyanne’s clutches like liquid mercury, reappearing behind her to inevitably grab the latter’s bright red locks and use them to enhance one horrifying-looking submission or another, interspersing that with illegal chokes or the occasional boot to the ribs. One athlete brings the other’s nasty streak to a screeching (literally) halt with a backbreaking submission that looks like it could leave the recipient in traction indefinitely.
