Honours ended even at Turf Moor, as a late Cristian Romero equaliser broke Clarets hearts on Saturday afternoon. The Spurs skipper headed home an unstoppable equaliser in the final seconds of the second half, to pull Spurs level, after Lyle Foster came off the bench to put Burnley ahead 14 minutes from time. Earlier, Micky van de Ven's 38th minute piledriver from 12 yards out gave Spurs a 1-0 lead shortly before half-time, but Burnley weren't behind for long, with Axel Tuanzebe scoring his first goal for the Clarets with a fine close-range volley from Kyle Walker's inch-perfect centre. The Clarets dominated for long spells in the second half, but Scott Parker's side were left pondering what might have been, when Romero struck to ensure it finished all square at Turf Moor.
