"Vishal (played by Irfan Khan) arrives in Mumbai with dreams of becoming an actor but finds limited success, only landing small roles that barely sustain him. Desperate and lacking money, he is introduced to a different line of business promising easy money and fun. Tempted by the prospects, Vishal joins this venture. As Vishal's fame grows, society turns against him, leading him and his family to be ostracized. His children are expelled from school, and his wife faces the harsh judgment of those around her, tormented by her own husband's actions. Tragically, Vishal's wife and children cannot bear the circumstances and take their own lives. In a last attempt to change his ways, Vishal tries to convince Aryan (played by Aryan) to leave the business, but Aryan remains resistant. When Aryan's wife discovers the truth, she refuses to accept a life built on wealth at the expense of loyalty and love. Overwhelmed by the consequences, Aryan's wife also commits suicide. Left alone, Aryan's life takes a tragic turn as he succumbs to illness and lives in paralysis until his ultimate demise. On his deathbed, Vishal realizes that life has no rewind button and that fast money never comes without a price."
