Angel starts out by asking referee Daffney if they have to go to the time limit, claiming she doesn’t have time for that. Daffney explains that they don’t and if she can beat her in the first minute, they can all go out for a drink. Williams does her best to do just that as she tosses Shantelle from the ring and works her over with blatant chokes and a pair of shots with a ringside baseball bat. Anything can happen on the outside though and before you know it Shantelle has the bat and is getting her licks in before chasing Angel back to the ring. Any hopes either had for a quick pin are abandoned as both wrestlers transition to submission holds and joint locks, grinding each other down with Surfboards, Camel Clutches and a steady diet of chokes, back rakes and nose pulls. Both wrestlers nearly succumb to tight Sleepers, but in the end it’s a stunning DDT that puts one wrestler down and out for the 3 count in this close contest.
