Amber may not always get the 3 count, but there’s no denying that she’s as tough and talented as they come. That’s on full display early in her matchup against Kiah Dream, as Amber keeps coming up with smooth and clever escapes an reversals to every armbar, takedown, and headlock that Kiah attempts. Battling on the mat, Amber turns a Side Headlock into a seated Abdominal Stretch, but Kiah is able to power out via a judo armbar reversal. Amber rolls it into a 1 count, then takes control, backing Kiah into the corner, then using the top turnbuckle to apply an elevated Headscissors, which she uses to slam Kiah face-first into the corner. Amber uses Camel Clutches, double Hammerlocks, and strong cornerwork to wear down Kiah. But Kiah responds with forearm strikes and kicks, a nifty hairpull flip into a near fall, and a small package for a near fall. But it’s a missed opportunity that opens the door for one of these grapplers to roll-up a 3 count and earn a hard-fought win.
