I greatly anticipated this movie as a child but didn't get to watch it then but watching it now has been such a let down, it's cheesy and not in a good way, it's terribly cringy, the acting is horrible and I say this with no animosity to any of the cast, it was so unrealistic that the only reason why I watched it was because I needed to see how worse it could get and they sure as hell didn't disappoint, the girl in the movie lost her dad for four years and suddenly there's a Mr's Whatsit in their apartment talking absolute nonsense and the son Charles Wallace (terrible name by the way) is telling them he's been waiting for her and she's his friend and the mother nor the daughter freak out? mind you he's 6 years old!!!, that aside there's Calvin who hasn't spoken to either of them before popping up all of a sudden talking bout sum “i felt like I had to be here” bitch stfu we all know the only reason why you're risking your life like a fool is cause you like Meg. Terrible movie

Well it's in the US that u lots hate Oprah. Over here we feel nothing for her so I can review this movie without any bad energy. How can grownups be so petty judging a kiddies movie so harshly just cos they hate one of the actress in it? The movie was ok! Not good, not bad. Minecraft grade! Kids will enjoy it and that is the objective for its production. Disney didn't flop! I'll rate it a 6
