Dana White shuts down Jon Jones headlining UFC White House: ‘I just can’t risk putting him in big positions’. The Jon Jones era in the UFC seemed to be over when Dana White announced he will not allow him to fight at the White House. UFC CEO Dana White has repeatedly stated he’s not even contemplating matchmaking yet. Jon Jones decided to end his retirement just two weeks after it started thanks to the announcement from President Donald Trump that he was planning to host a UFC event at the White House in 2026. Unfortunately for Jon Jones, it appears he may not even end up with a spot on that card. Dana White’s hesitation to have Jones headline that particular event isn’t based around the possibility he could potentially compete for a title.
