I liked this film. It kind of dragged in parts but for the most part it delivered all the goods. One thing bothered me though. Why didn't Sandra Bullock just cut her hair to avoid being discovered by all the people who were looking for her? This movie is so 1995. It's so dated in terms of the computer graphics that were used. There are several scenes that were truly well done and suspenseful. Everybody asks, "could this really happen?" The answer is simple, yes.
A movie that holds up to this day, even with technology being more advanced. Storyline was decent as it showed how in the wrong hands, what kind of damage computers can do. Actors chosen, acting, cinematography & music nicely done. Would recommend it,a must watch!
This film deals with identity theft. Made nearly a decade ago, you might think it is outdated and irrelevant. WRONG! The topic is more relevant today than when it was made. The writing is ingenious and the acting is superb. Sandra Bullock is arguably better than she was in The Lake House, or even The Blind Side. I think this is one of her best works. The supporting actors are also good, but less memorable. I made popcorn to eat while watching, but found myself too mesmerized to begin chewing. The suspense is terrifying. I was on the edge of my seat the entire film. I never knew what would happen next. After watching, I can only hope I never find myself in a situation like this. Hopefully this film will help people realize the real threat of identity theft and be aware on how to prevent it. Two thumbs way, way up. It is, by far, one of the most thought out films of the decade.
