The diminutive but sprightly Ray Lyn begins this match on a note of confidence, but her opening exchange with her opponent indicates a level of ruthlessness on the latter’s part that doesn’t quite bode well for the blonde. Sure enough, an opening back and forth of chain wrestling and tie-ups ends up going badly for Ray Lyn, sending her scurrying from the ring. This is not to suggest that Ray Lyn doesn’t get her licks on during this contest. She leaps around a lot, launching Dropkicks and cinching in Waistscissors, busting out chops to the chest and creative pinfall attempts. But the bigger and stronger MJ manages to escape it all, tossing Ray Lyn around by her hair and punishing her with submissions like Boston Crabs, as well as a whole lot of brawling tactics. The ladies give each other all they’ve got to the point that they’re staggering around in exhaustion by the end of it. A final high impact maneuver concludes this match definitively but not without showcasing plenty of the loser’s skills.
