This match is a veritable cornucopia of wrestling talents. Referee Ivelisse gets a little tongue-tied making the introductions and explaining the terms–it’s a 5 out of 7 falls match where wrestlers have to take off their footwear with every pin/submission–but we’re soon up and running. Saraya starts off against Brittney, displaying her usual mean streak by going for the blonde’s eyes. The latter is soon boot-less, taken down with a Clothesline and a Boston Crab. Nikki comes in next only for Saraya to wreck her eyes too. Nikki, however, proves to be more resilient than Brittney and takes Saraya down anyway for the second fall and the Englishwoman is rendered shoe-less. So it goes, back and forth as these supreme athletes go at it tooth and (toe)nail. There’s excessive doubleteaming in the corner by Saraya and Mercedes who choke Nikki and Brittney every which way. Ivelisse does a terrible job of officiating as wrestlers come in and out of the ring freely and the whole thing disintegrates into chaos with a tinge of hilarity. Snap Suplexes are busted out, leglocks put in place, Waistscissors crush midsections, guts are kicked, arms are twisted. Inevitably, every wrestler loses their footwear, all the better for a smelly socked toe or two to be thrust into an opponent’s face. Surprise rollups win one duo their victory but not without a hard-fought resistance.
