Angel and Joey square off for a 1 Fall intergender match that starts with a couple minutes of light-hearted banter and trash talking that sets the tone for this match, with the bell ringing only after Joey dons a luchador mask, complete with a mustache that would make Burt Reynolds proud. Once the psychological warfare is over, however, the match gets down to business. Joey shows he is capable of putting some good moves together, catching Angel with a couple nice Waistlocks and reversing one of her Side Headlocks into one of his own. Angel proves to be no slouch herself in the technical department, going to work on Joey's arms with some nice Armbars and shots to his shoulders. This seems to bring out a mean streak in the once easy-going Joey, who follows up with an attack on Angel's throat, combining tight Chinlocks with some rather flagrant chokeholds. Angel looks like she's done for until Joey goes to the well once too often with a flashy move and her comeback is on. Does Angel have enough left to turn the match around or will Joey hold tight for the win? If you like fundamentally solid intergender action, or ever wanted to hear a referee say, "Touch me with that mustache and I'll disqualify you," this is one you don't want to miss!
